Hobbs’s (lack of) choice

Thu 12 Nov, 2009

The end is nigh! – Eddie Hobbs

We’re running out of oil! Inflation will run at 15 per cent for at least a decade! Pensions will all be wiped-out!

Yes, folks, it’s Eddie Hobbs. Last seen wearing a sandwich board in a street near you, Hobbs was back on Newstalk today to… what was it again? I can’t remember. Some absurd tale about the end of the world.

For someone who spends all his time telling us we’re all going to die lonely and broke, Hobbs certainly seems to be coining it these days.
